Will the VA send me a 21-4140 on my award anniversary, or do I need to submit it on my own?

They may send you one. If they don't, go to VA forms and download a copy. http://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/vba-21-4140-1-are.pdf Fill it out each year and send it in to CYA. It's your TDIU.

I got mine today. My first anniversary date is Nov 27th. The appear a little anxious because i noticed the "date mailed" box has tomorrow's date!

I've read on here that some Vets send in TWO each year. Just to make sure that the VA gets them. Not a bad idea really.
